About Cary Island Villa - Ocho Rios Jamaica

Cary Island is a charming seaside Tudor-style private home and the staff here has catered to many people with the most discriminating tastes. The villa comes fully staff with a cook, housekeepers and gardener.

Perched on a cliff side, the main house has four air-conditioned bedrooms, four bathrooms, dining room, living room, Cable TV in the living area, card room and entertainment lounge. An cottage, just out front, offers 3 additional air-conditioned bedrooms and three baths.

There is a large balcony on the second floor of the main villa that looks straight out to the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean. It's a very relaxing spot for morning coffee, afternoon naps, or cocktails at sunset!

Have a cool drink at the large seaside pool, or stroll through the estate's 5 tropical acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.

Take the stone steps down to the Caribbean sea where you will find a charming private island complete with gazebo - a great spot for picnic lunches or for watching the sunset.

Cary Island has hosted many weddings and large parties ... the owner allows larger weddings on the grounds so please give us your details and we will provide you with all details for a truly special wedding in paradise!

Hi Vicki,  It was a pleasure to have stayed at Cary Island, we had a great week and the guests had a great time!  The weather was beautiful all week and especially on the wedding day. The wedding went perfectly and the guests enjoyed themselves to the fullest - we are still hearing that was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Thank you so much again. Hello Vicki - Hope all is well. We had a wonderful time at Cary Island Villa over past few days, and the wedding weekend was truly special because of the home and the staff. We just left the house and tipped the staff directly. The food was great, particularly the escoveitch fish ackee and salt fish; and Magnus took great care of us!

Hi Vicki, We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cary Island, as I knew we would. It was relaxing, adventurous, fun, and definitely a place we shall return to.  The staff was so caring, sweet, attentive and they became family to us.  Please make sure the owners know how passionate they are.We all gathered together the morning we were leaving, held hands, said a prayer and promised we would stay in touch.  

Our driver was awesome and felt very safe and protected in his care. Listen to his guidance as to where you should go.

My advice to guests coming to Cary Island about the cuisine is that they should  understand that the cooking is Jamaican and if they try and ask for something really American it won't be prepared as they might be used to.  Go with the flow and experience all that it has because the chef goes out of his way to present each meal with care and passion.  He even stands in the back to be sure everyone is happy.  Please express our sincere thanks to the owners and kudos to all of you for this beautiful vacation experience.  Warmly, Nance

The house was perfect for our large family getaway. The chef was incredible and prepared all meals wonderfully. All meals were made to our requests. We tried some of the local foods and we all really enjoyed it! We enjoyed the pool and had a great time swimming and snorkeling around the little island just off the coast.
