About Serenity on the Beach Villa Montego Bay Jamaica

Serenity on the Beach is a lovely private villa situated directly on the beach just west of Montego Bay.
The villa offers a unique open air floor plan, beautiful décor throughout, complimented with Ralph Lauren wallpaper and beautiful lacy white linens and cool marble floors throughout.

Four bedrooms, the main living room and dining area, and three quaint sitting areas are all connected by a long furnished marble veranda amid lawns and lovely vegetation with the sea as the backdrop!
The veranda adjoins the pool terrace, where cool drinks and evening hors d`oeuvres are served under the palm trees.
Most weeks, the butler's special treat is dinner on the beach ... casual dining on the pool deck is always wonderful!

On calm evenings, you may see our local fishermen laying their nets by torchlight.
If the night produces a good catch, they’ll return early in the morning with fresh fish or lobster to sell to Maud, the Serenity cook, for tonight’s dinner.

100 yards offshore is Holden's Reef, a continuation of the barrier reef complex that fronts much of Jamaica's north coast. Easily reachable by kayak, this live reef is home to a myriad of tropical fish and corals. At low tide, portions protrude above the water so you can step from your kayak to snorkel in shallow water. On the ocean side, deeper waters beckon the more adventurous or scuba equipped.

The neighboring villa, that shares the tennis court, is "Tranquility" - 7 bedrooms.
Book both villas for enough room for a party of group of as many as 18 people.
Add Noble House and this group is wonderful for groups of 30 people - 2 small children may be considered as well


If you’ve left your pets behind please be advised that Serenity is home to the owners beloved pups: Skye (female born Dec 2019) and Spot (male 13 yrs old). They love romps on the beach with guests, adore children and socks, and will sing to you when the mood strikes them.

Accommodations
Three 400-square-foot air-conditioned bedrooms are equal in size ~ soft and romantic with king size beds. Six softly-curtained French doors open from each bedroom to the long verandah and view of the sea just steps away. The smaller fourth A/C bedroom is located between the Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2.

Master Bedroom - 420 square feet
Extremely private on far west end. King-size bed, cable television. Opens to large private gazebo where guests will find their eye-opener coffee tray each morning. En-suite bathroom has walk-in shower and double sink vanity. Inside bathroom opens to a second outdoor Jungle Shower, also very private.

Bedroom 2 - 400 square feet
Privately located on far east end. King-size bed, cable television, next to the swimming pool. Mirrored en-suite bathroom has walk-in shower.

Bedroom 3 - 400 square feet
Optional king-size or twin beds, cable television. En-suite bathroom has deep bathtub and shower combination. Also a very private whimsical Jungle Shower accessed through French doors (favorite of parents and children alike). This bedroom connects to Bedroom 4 for the convenience of family units. Families in Bedrooms 3 and 4 can share the connecting outdoor Jungle Shower.

Bedroom 4 ~ 200 square feet
Favorite for children & suitable for adults. Optional king-size or twin beds, cable television, en-suite bath with walk-in shower. A connecting door opens to the Bedroom 3 for convenience of parents and children. A louvered window also opens between these connecting rooms. Parents or nannies can adjust the louvers to stay open for monitoring or closed for privacy in the night. Bedroom 4 guests can also access through a joining door the indoor and outdoor showers of Bedroom 3.

Notes: Serenity is located on a beautiful stretch of beach however the beach may encounter increased seaweed or reduced water clarity during the rainy seasons in May and October. This may also occur with fluctuating ocean currents and weather patterns.  Thank you for your understanding.

The owner of Serenity does permit weddings;  25 people total and $30. per person for each invited guest.

Group dinners are allowed when renting the sister villas Tranquility and Noble House, which are right next door.

Dear Vicki, We wanted to let you know that our stay in Jamaica at Serenity was absolutely perfect! The staff was amazing and made our visit so relaxing.
The home was spotless, our food amazing, and our laundry service a true gift! The beach was excellent and we took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards every day except when we went to Negril. The beach was raked everyday and rocks pulled out as best as could be done in nature; we loved rooting for shells and sea glass. Alicia was our driver and she was great, as nothing was too much for her to accommodate our requests. Thank you for all your assistance in helping us coordinate and book this trip! Thanks again, Lisa
With Lisa's group > I concur . The water is clean and beautiful. if you head straight out from the house the bottom is very soft sand after walking in the first few feet. ( which is naturally a touch Rocky, nothing a water shoe can’t take care of) when you walk into water and swim or kayak right it becomes very clear and more rocky further down and I suspect great snorkeling . A local boater showed is where the river meets our cove which is left of the house when you face the water and we enjoyed exploring down there as well. Lots do right there ! Beach was clean but with enough shells etc left for natural beauty and our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Danielle
